Co-founder, overseeing corporate management, financial & business development, Philippe is a C-level executive with 25+ years in E&P. He has been involved in management of drilling operations & technology, well construction engineering software & advisory services, directional drilling and exploration projects.

Having held various positions in the senior management of Techdrill International for over 20 years, more recently as chief operating officer, previously as executive vice president running global business development. He joined the company in the 1990s as CFO then director of business & legal affairs. Former managing director of Mercury Energy Advisers, an energy advisory firm engaging in directional drilling & well management in Latin America, geophysical & seismic acquisition in Africa and North America. Prior to that Philippe worked in several law firms and co-managed an international non-governmental organization for 4 years. After graduating in law from Panthéon-Assas University, in Paris, France, he studied law at St John´s College, Oxford University and at the law schools of Harvard and Georgetown University. Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

37 years of experience in the seismic acquisition industry. Experienced in 2D, 3D and 4D Vibroseis and Dynamite Operations in all terrain types. United Geophysical in 1997 worked with Schlumberger Geco-Prakla and Seismograph Service Ltd as a Seismologist and Party Chief in Peru, Papua New Guinea, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Nigeria, Alaska, Texas and South-Eastern USA.

Joined United Geophysical as a project manager responsible for Shell operations in Nigeria before being promoted to Operations Manager and then Deputy Managing Director in 2005. Appointed Managing Director in September 2017. BSc. Honors degree in Earth Science. MSc in Geophysics. PGDip in Software Engineering and an MBA.

James Lowrie

James holds an M(Geol) Degree in Geophysics from the University of Leicester, England and has over 20 years of experience in the seismic acquisition industry. After joining United in 2001, has been involved in all acquisition projects for various international and indigenous client including SPDC, NAOC, NPDC, Chevron and Pan Ocean.

Experienced in 2D, 3D AND 4D dynamite, air gun and vibriosis operations in all terrain types. James has held various supervisory and management roles within the company rising from Geophysicist to Operations Manager in 2005. He was appointed Deputy Managing Director in September 2017.

Richard Kendal
Operations Director
 
Over 40 years of international seismic acquisition experience. Has worked for respected international geophysical service companies. Schlumberger Geco Geophysical for over 17 years, PGS Onshore, commencing his career direct from University in land processing. Spent many years working on seismic crews before crew supervision and management roles and has worked in diverse areas.

Clients have included Shell, Chevron, BP, ENI, Total, KOC and Saudi Aramco. Joined United Geophysical in April 2017. Bsc (Hons) degree in Environmental Science. NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Mr Macdonald has over 25 years’ experience in Land Seismic. He started his Seismic career with United in Nigeria before moving on to PGS in North Africa. Prospectiuni in Europe, Africa & Asia, then Tesla in East Africa, before returning to United in 2017. He specialises in planning, sourcing, procuring equipment requirements, mobilising new crews, often into new countries.
